CHEMICAL PEELS!!!
Sounds kind of scary and not too relaxing.....HOWEVER....THIS IS AN AMAZING TREATMENT THAT WILL DO WONDERS FOR YOUR SKIN!!!! AND HOW CAN I BE SO SURE? I have been having chemical peels at the Taryn Laine clinic for close on three years now and i can honestly say that the texture of my skin is amazing and the lack of fine lines and wrinkling quite something given my age.
In all honesty it is not a very relaxing facial....it can be a bit stingy but I PROMISE YOU commit to having them on a regular basis and you will not be sorry. In a nutshell ..here’s what a chemical peel achieves...
I have taken this concise definition from Wikipedia and I have also posted the info from the Taryn Laine website.
A chemical peel is a body treatment technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution that causes the dead skin to slough off and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. Thus the term chemical peel is derived.
INFO FROM THE TARYN LAINE WEBSITE BELOW :
CHEMICAL PEELS :
Chemical Peels are for rapid assisted deep exfoliation, helping the skin to stimulate cell rebuilding and restructure deeper skin layers.

A chemical peel removes the damaged layer of dead surface skin cells, revealing the fresh, healthier, smoother and plumper skin and produces a more even tone. Recent studies have also shown the continued use of chemical peels may speed up cell turnover and stimulate the production of collagen, the protein fibre that keeps skin from sagging and wrinkling.

The benefits of chemical peels are:

* increases skin glow and texture smoothness
* reduces mild to moderate acne scarring
* softens fine wrinkles and minimizes coarse wrinkles
* lightens pigmentation irregularities
* reduces excessive skin oils and pore size
* possible correction of sun damage
* long term production of collagen.

It is essential that chemical peels are performed by a trained aesthetic therapist under the supervision of a physician.

Would love to have some feedback should you decide to take the plunge!!!

Happy New Year everyone!!!
